you can't get straight hair from a conair straightener.. i actually have straight hair and it doesn't work for me.

save up and buy a sedu or chi, they're like $150 if you shop around.

Hi

Ive never heard of that brand straightener but what i would advise it that you use what that heats up to 230 degrees.

Embrace your naturally curly hair. There is nothing wrong with it.

Try a hair gloss to tame your hair. Biosilk is the best, but very expensive. You can buy it in any Salon and Target sells it as well. The second best (and the one I use because I can afford) is Proclaim Glossing Polish. It is in a clear bottle with a black lid. The only place I know sells it is Sally Beauty Supply. It's $6.00. It's good stuff - give it a try.

It would help if I knew what race you were. Like Garnier fructis products work really well on caucasion hair.

John Freida works amazing on black hair.

Use the matching shampoo, conditioner, and straightening product before flat ironing.

(Another good one is Herbal essences dangerously straight, that's what I use)

If all else fails, buy a Chi flat iron. They work wonders.

mabe get a new hair straightener!! or try puting hair spray on your hair before you straigten it!! i have curly hair, i mean really curly hair and it is really thick and i can still straightrn it with no problem so its probly your straightener!! hope this helps! if all else fails use a iron!!! lol

Well, I have to say as someone with curly hair I think you should try embracing your curly hair and learn to control it. That being said, you need a better brand than conair. Go salon or go to a Sallys beauty supply and get a decent one. Use a heat protector as well.

ok so a hair decurler will help and harispray will work to

First of all, make sure you're taking great care to deeply and thoroughly condition your hair. Straightening curly hair is very damaging. Good conditioning will help keep it sleek. After you wash your hair, and condition it well, towel dry it, and put in a liberal amount of straightening cream. I like any of John Frieda's Frizz Ease products. Blowdry on the hottest setting, sections at a time, running a brush through and pointing the hairdryer nozzle downwards as you pull the brush through. After that step, use a flat iron on the hair in 2 inch sections at a time. When you're done, I suggest putting in a serum to help with fly aways, and add shine.

when you take a shower, use straightening shampoo. it doesnt matter what brand you use, as long as it doesnt have anything that could damage your hair. after you are done washing your hair, comb it. do not use a brush!. after you comb your hair, blow dry it on low. after blow drying it. comb it again, THEN use the flatiron.
