Curly hair and straight bangs?

I just had a baby about four months ago and I'm losing some of my hair around my forehead (completely normal) but it's starting to get noticeable and a little embarrasing, but anyway I have curly hair and would like to do staight side bangs would this lookk bad? I can't leave the bangs curly because I would look stupid but some links would be great also what would be some good hairstyles to do this wityh as summer is coming and I don't always want to wear my hair down. I have naturally curly hair and tis can be a PROBLEM I know! What I do is , I take little pieces that are a bit sahorter in the front and I use a little gel in my fingers and twist these into curls ...kinda alike bangs but not bangs. I hate bangs and with curly hair its almost impossible to have them or theyll fly all over the place. But no, straiht bangs wouldnt look stupid wit your curly hair. You can also use a hot iron (curling iron) to twirl pieces down in front on the sides and make them more manageable. I do this too. It helps because I have FUZZ that doesnt stay back in a ponytail. I have a high forehead and it can stand-out sometimes so I also make these little pieces ("bangs") to distract attention from my HIGH forehead!!Good-luck hon!

If you really have to do that to your hair than I would. I don't think it would look bad. I can just picture it rite now. Do you wanna be known as trendy, or scardy cat??? I would pick trendy, do that and you will rock!!!

I had the SAME problem! I have straightened my bangs and kept the rest curly. I hate my "bangs" curly, so I straighten them and put them over to the side. It looks good. It looks more like a style and less like a frizz of hair. Have fun with it!
