I agree with the above person, they have a bunch of different tricks they use.. but you can use the hot rollers, foam rollers, or get you a large barrelled curling iron (a good quality one). When you go to dry your hair, use mousse, it gives it some hold when you start the curling process. Finish off with some hairspray and pray it doesnt rain!

Hairdressers on movie sets will use loads of tricks we simply don't have time to do. They will set the hair in rollers and then finish up with a curling iron. Sometimes...they'll do the reverse. They also use weird objects to create curls and waves like those foams things you put in between toes to apply your nail polish...it sounds crazy...but creates GREAT waves.

To keep it simple...try rollers. You can create a tigth or loose curl...you decide.
