Good product for curly hair to reduce frizz & hold curls?

I have curly hair, and when it's wet it looks very nice, frizz-free, etc...But whenever it dries, no matter how dilligent I am with either letting it air-dry or putting in gels/mousses and drying it with a diffuser, a few hours later it becomes frizzy again and gets tangly. I'm tired of damaging it with straightening irons, so I would like to just work with my naturally curly hair and get it to look good. What gels, mousses/etc...make curly hair look nice, frizz free and hold the curls? Please include only those products you've used yourself and know from experience that they work, or know someone who they worked for. Please, don't just include a product you saw on TV or in the magazine...I have about 30 different gells, mousses, and hair creams that I've bought that were supposed to tame curly frizzy hair but none of them work well and I'm frustrated. Please share your advice.

Tell me about it! Curls look so nice if you take care of them. My hari is unbelievebly curly!! I usually use the herbal essance leave in conditioner after I shower! It reduces frizz and it makes my hair smell really good! Then, like say you want a natural wet look, I would use LA Salon products Hair gel #8. It reduces frizz and makes curls look awesome.

I also have a million curl products and most of them do not work. Use Garnier curl and shine shampoo and conditioner. Then use the herbal essence. Ask your hair dresser for a product called Malibu 2000. GOOD LUCK

omg i have the same problem what u can do is use vive loreal shampoo/conditione herbal essecences none of your frizzness tresseme of sammy they all work then use then use LA looks curl gel then defuse it it will dry without straightening good luck

Garnier Fructis products are awesome...it's about the only thing I use.

I also use Biosilk...it's expensive but you don't need a bunch of it and it works.

Had this problem with my daughters hair, I went through hundreds of products. In the end we found the Frizz-Ease range works well.

Aussie Smoothmate shampoo and conditioner is about the best anti frizz shampoo on the market.

For those special occasions she uses ceramic hot tongs (GHD) with the appropriate Frizz-Ease product. That keeps it straight %26amp; Frizz free for a few days. (but dont do this too often).

I use Garnier Fructis on my hair, and i'll tell you this, i am a curly haired redhead and trust me, it doesn't get better than this. Garnier usually keeps out frizz for quite awhile when i put the spray gel into it, but mostly it does a really decent job. i don't use a diffuser, but Garnier still does the work i want it too. It keeps the frizz down, and if needed, hairspray from Tresseme finishes it off. I've tried a lot of different stuff too, but in all Garnier does the best job. Good luck

I use this leave-in conditioner by Curl Friends. It's a bit pricey, about $24 for 4 oz, but it works pretty well. I have naturally wavy hair, I use this when I want my hair a little more wavy/curly. It is not waxy and does not contain any bad stuff. Gives a little 'hold' to the curls too.

And another thing, use minimum products, like gels, mousse etc. They don't help with frizz in the long run, they just make it worse by drying out hair a lot.

I have very curly hair that likes to frizz and rarely holds a style. Pantene for curly hair (pink trimmed bottles) is the best I've tried. I've tried a lot of them too.
