Curly hair makeover?????

I have very curly hair that I iron every day. I know it is bad for my hair, but it looks better than my original hair. I want to get a short almost vicktoria beckam haircut, but It will just look bushy, and summer is coming, and i swim, so i don't want to have to straighten it right when I get out of the pool. I also want to dye it, but I want to use a henna dye that is very natural and safe. How should I straighten it permanently, but naturally, and how can I dye it naturally? What should I do???? HELP!

Actually did you know that henna is a natural hair relaxer as well? Like for curly hair it will loosen your curls and it won;t be so tight. You may really like that! Plus it is less damaging BUT you have to make sure you use body art quality henna powder.

That is very important so as not to damage your hair. Remember that henna really makes your hair reddish tones, so if that's the color you want then keep that in mind. If you use other natural herbal powders on your hair you may be able to choose from a variety of hair colors you want to achieve.

I hope this helps and feel free to send me a message if you have another question!

I have very very curly hair and stopped straightening it about 2 years ago, after it got damaged from years of doing it. I got the book Curly Girl based on a recommendation from my stylist and started following it's advice, including washing my hair with conditioner (also good for right out of the pool). The key is keep lots of moisture in your hair. Now I have nice, soft curls, no frizz and it's not limp or greasy. I actually grew my hair longer since it's much easier to care for now. I recommend this book. You can buy this book on Amazon.

Don't chemically straighten - it will grow out curly at the roots which looks bizarre and its very damaging.

no way. henna lasts like 2 weeks. chemical straightening is your only option.
