If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled.

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week

Avoid combing hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb.

Deep condition twice a week

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water.

When using a conditioner leave on for about 1-3 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to have shiny hair

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

If you dye your hair do it atleast once a year, hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill your hair.

My Hair: Poffy, Curly, Frizzy %26amp; Dry. Please Help !?

Hey, I have the same exact problem as you. I don't know if Garnier Frutis Sleek and Shine is in the Uk, but it works really good. I usually straighten my hair at night and wake up and do the parts that kinda curled in the morning. It makes your hair look really smooth and shiny, and it helps with the frizz and the dryness. Hope this helps.

If you want to do something drastic and rid yourself of the curls, just go to your local hair parlour and get your hair chimically straightened.

If not, get anybrand of texturizing gel and scrunch it into your hair. It should weigh down your hair (ridding you of hte poof) and it should chase the frizz away.

what you should do is get sunsilk products for the poff and the frizz and the curly hair and get haed in sholders products and leave in condishner and since you put in a pony tail get some hair spay and jeal so your ahir will stay down. i hope that helps

Go to a reputable hair salon, let them know you're looking for hair products for yourself and see what they recommend. Brands such as Redken, Bedhead, Paul Mitchell, and Nexxus are good.

go see an ethnic (black) stylist. not all white people have 'white people hair'. and start using ethnic hair products. you'll see a huge difference within a week.

stop using drug store/ grocery store stuff on your hair, please.

I know your problem well. My solution is spend the money on a chi straightening iron and some chi smoothing serum.... I love mine. Cant go a day without it. Its really worth the money and no other brand does as well

First switch to a good shampoo and conditioner. Redkin makes a great moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for dry/coarse hair called Allsoft (their deep conditioner, Heavy Cream, is awesome too!). Redkin also just came out with shampoo and conditioner and stuff for curly hair, but I haven't tried it. After shampooing and conditioning, put an anti-frizz serum in your hair while it is still damp (Frizz Ease by John Frieda is pretty good, I like the one for coarse hair). Comb it through and let your hair dry naturally, or blowdry your hair with a diffuser on the lowest and coolest setting. Then spritz on some shine spray or use a shine balm and you are ready to go!

Just be aware that nothing you do to your hair will make it fine like everyone else. A lot of people have fine to medium hair, but a lot of people have medium to coarse hair (like me). You can't do anything to change the thickness of of your (as in strand size) but you can use stuff to help keep your hair in control.

Oh and Sebastion Potion #9 is great also, just put it on damp hair before you dry your hair. If this doesn't work, go to a salon and get your hair deeply conditioned and ask a stylist for ideas on how to care for your hair. Hope this helps!
