Im a girl and having a short curly hair . I really need someone to teach me how to make a spikey hair from a short curly hair (using gel or hair cream ) Thanks a lot!!

You can flat iron it and then hold the pieces up with your hand (or blow dryer) while using a fair amount hairspray to hold it. But you got to let the hairspray dry as you're doing it. The amount of gel and cream you need to use to get spikes will make your hair all greasy and gross. This way is better and easier.

First person's idea will probably not work - because once you apply gel to straigtened hair the water content will cause your hair to go curly again. If you want you can use a fair amount of pommade or wax just before you use the hairspray to get the hair into thicker pieces for spiking. (wax will also feel better than gel)

You could first straighten your hair, and then apply the spiking gel.

It might work, but you wouldn't want to do this a lot, seeing how it could kill/break off your hair, with the straightening and spiking thing going on.
